Background Story
Design Process
The most difficult and important part of creating this song was choosing a theme that the lyrics and melody fit well in. By using a variety of songs that we both liked as our base, I chose the song’s instrumental choice and overall architecture based on “Understand” by Keshi, because the sound and vibe of the song was very similar and synched so well with the picture I wanted to create with the song.
From there, writing the rest of the song was centered around feeling and creating the right ambiance through trial and error.

Personal Passion Project
When I first met David in college, we bonded through our love for music. One day, he sang a beautiful melody that he had written while playing this one repetitive guitar chord as the background. Despite the lack of chord progression, I loved the song so much that I knew I had to help him finish creating it.
With his singing and guitar playing as the main highlight, I paired Logic Pro with my musical background to help bring his song to life.
